The Foundation Social Inclusion Games the Netherlands is founded by the Federatie Opvang and Humanitas Onder Dak.
The statutory duties of the foundation are:

1. to improve the participation of socially marginalised people in society by introducing sports
2. all other acts and efforts to accomplish the above
3. to stimulate socially marginalised people to get in touch with each other and society
4. to counteract and prevent social exclusion of socially marginalised people
5. to improve the dialogue between community, political parties and socially marginalised people on a European level

The Foundation Social Inclusion Games the Netherlands is composed as follows:

• Bert Deliën is Chairman and director of Humanitas Onder Dak.
• Bram Koppenaal is Secretary and Head of Policy and Projects of Federatie Opvang.
• Jan Busscher is Treasurer and auditor for Mazars.

The Foundation Social Inclusion Games the Netherlands has the ambition to have the Social Inclusion Games on the European activity calendar permanently.

The Humanitas Onder Dak Group is a community shelter organization, which offers professional shelter, social assistance, guidance and outreach work to socially marginalized people.
Clients of Humanitas Onder Dak are dealing with problems like homelessness, (former) addiction, (former) psychological problems, unemployment, debts, lack of structure or a combination of these problems.
The activities of Humanitas Onder Dak are focused on prevention, shelter, after-care and expert opinion and is overall directed to stimulation of social participation.
Humanitas Onder Dak confirms the importance of sports for quit some time now. Through active participation in sports events, like The Social Inclusion Games in Denmark last year (2009), the clients of Humanitas Onder Dak experience, amongst other positive results, a growing self esteem, which makes participation in society easier and the gap between them and community smaller.

Humanitas Onder Dak Group is situated in The Netherlands and has locations in Almelo, Enschede, Groningen, Haarlemmermeer, Hengelo and Oldenzaal.

The Federatie Opvang is the branch organisation for the provision of emergency accommodation, sheltered accommodation and women’s shelters. The accommodation and shelters support people in vulnerable and unsafe situations. It concerns among others homeless people, victims of domestic violence and family honour violence, teenage mothers, victims of human trafficking, ex-convicts and homeless youth.
